No Job Cuts   No Service Cuts

In its latest Budget Options Proposals the council is proposing a number of job cuts, service reductions, and cuts to terms and conditions for staff. We believe these cuts are to the detriment of council workers and communities across Wirral. We oppose these proposals and call upon the Council to reject them. They include job cuts in the following services:

• Girtrell Court
• Care Navigators
• School Crossing Patrols
• Dog Fouling Patrol
• Community Patrol
• Occupational Health
• Libraries
• Welfare Rights Unit
• Communications
