Consultation on Changes to Terms & Conditions Announced
The Managing Director has opened a consultation with unions on a change to your terms and conditions.
Under the terms of the transfer out of the Council the 4 days unpaid leave expired on 31 March 2016. The Company is now seeking to extend this for a period of five years. At the time of the transfer we did press that terms and conditions, including pay, in the new company be tied to the Council’s. This was rejected. It seems they want to have their cake and eat it; cut t&c’s in line with the Council, but refuse to accept Council union negotiated pay rises
UNISON will now be consulting with our members on these proposed changes, with the following meetings arranged:
Eastham Centre 12 April 4pm
Heswall Centre 13 April 3:30pm
Bebington Civic Centre 13 April 5:30pm
Please make every effort to attend one of these meetings. It affects your pay, and your views will strengthen our position in negotiations
