UNPAID LEAVE
The unpaid leave dates for 2016/17 will be Tuesday 30 August; Wednesday 28th December; Thursday 29th December; and Friday 30th December.
The majority of council services will close on these days, unless providing critical service. Senior managers have reviewed the arrangements for their areas and two senior HR staff are collating this information from the various Heads of Service.
Individual Heads of Service with then liaise with Wirral UNISON on any variation they propose to the standard corporate days. No variations have yet been formally proposed but we will keep members updated on our negotiations with managers.
